Refund & Billing Policy

Last updated: May 16, 2026

This Refund & Billing Policy explains how Deal Cues handles purchases, subscriptions, credits, and refund requests. By making a purchase, you agree to this policy and our Terms of Service. All prices are in USD and are processed through Stripe. If you have billing questions, contact support@dealcues.com.

1. One-Time Purchases

One-time purchases include:

  • Screening ($9 per deal): Unlocks Stage 1 analysis for one selected deal.
  • Full Report ($99 per deal): Unlocks Stage 2, Stage 3, and Deal Coach access for one selected deal.
  • Extra Screening Credit ($9): Adds one Screening credit to your account (not tied to a deal at purchase time).
  • Extra Full Report Credit ($99): Adds one Full Report credit to your account (not tied to a deal at purchase time).

One-time purchases are generally non-refundable once the credit has been applied to your account or a report has been generated. If you believe you were charged in error (for example, a duplicate charge or a technical failure that prevented delivery), contact support@dealcues.com within 7 days of the charge and we will investigate. Refunds for billing errors are issued at our discretion.

2. Subscription (Buyer Pro — $299/month)

The Buyer Pro subscription is billed monthly. It includes:

  • 50 Screening credits per billing cycle
  • 5 Full Report credits per billing cycle
  • Access to all Deal Cues features including Deal Coach, Scenario Sandbox, and offer strategy

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Billing page. Your subscription access and included credits will continue until the end of the current billing period. Deal Cues does not issue prorated refunds for unused days remaining in a billing cycle.

No partial-month refunds: If you cancel mid-cycle, you retain access until the period ends and are not charged for the next cycle. You will not receive a refund for the unused portion of the current cycle.

3. Credit Rollover and Expiration

Included subscription credits (Screenings and Full Reports from your monthly plan) roll over month to month while your subscription is active. They do not expire as long as your subscription remains active.

Purchased add-on credits (Extra Screening or Full Report credits bought separately) remain in your account until your subscription is canceled or your account is closed.

After cancellation: All unused credits — both included and add-on — are forfeited when your subscription period ends. Credits are not redeemable for cash and have no monetary value outside the Deal Cues platform.

4. Screening-to-Full Report Upgrade

If you purchased a Screening for a specific deal and later purchase a Full Report for the same deal, Deal Cues will credit your prior Screening purchase toward the Full Report price (net charge: $90) where system eligibility is confirmed. Upgrades are deal-specific and cannot be applied across different deals.

5. Failed Payments

If a subscription payment fails, Deal Cues (via Stripe) will retry the charge. If payment continues to fail, your subscription may be suspended and your access to premium features may be restricted until the outstanding balance is resolved. You will receive email notifications about failed payments.

6. Duplicate or Erroneous Charges

If you believe you were charged twice for the same purchase, or charged for something you did not receive, contact support@dealcues.com immediately with the transaction ID or Stripe receipt. Include your account email and a description of the issue. We will investigate and resolve confirmed billing errors promptly.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or billing adjustment:

  1. Email support@dealcues.com
  2. Include your account email address
  3. Include the Stripe transaction ID or receipt (found in your billing confirmation email)
  4. Describe the issue and the refund you are requesting
  5. Submit your request within 7 days of the charge

Refunds for billing errors are processed within 5–10 business days after confirmation. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
